My First Solo Adventure – Bacolod

“Listen to God with a broken heart. He is not only the doctor who mends it, but also the father who wipes away the tears.”
― Criss Jami

God has plans for you and he will never fail to delight you.

Start of a healing process for me to find myself and realize a lot of things in life.

This is one of the biggest challenges of my life where I will go on a place with no friends, relatives or any related friends. As a first timer, I do have some hesitations especially I’m just alone and of course there are a lot of news about the crimes in Bacolod. One of my friend told me that it was very safe in the are since he was working their before. This added my confidence and eagerness to continue.

I’ve created my own itinerary (hotel, transfer, activities, food). I don’t really expect to complete all of the task I’ve write but it helped me succeed on this travel.

MY SAMPLE ITINERARY

HOTEL:

The Suites at Calle Nueva. 1,187.60/night – very clean room and accommodating to customers like me. I don’t like the menu of breakfast but it is manageable.

Lakawon Island Resort and Spa. Php 4500/ night for junior site with aircon. I don’t really recommend my room since it was a bit old and it is too far from the main beach, restaurants and other facilities.
